MVLA Homeless Aid Organization is a community-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Mountain View, Los Altos, and surrounding areas. Founded on compassion and driven by action, we are here to ensure that no one in our community is left behind.

What We Do
At MVLA, we address homelessness from every angle. Our programs include:
- Emergency shelter and transitional housing
- Daily meals and food assistance
- Hygiene services and healthcare referrals
- Job readiness training and educational support
- Case management and long-term housing placement
Our services are designed to not only meet immediate needs but also to create pathways toward long-term stability and independence.
Why It Matters
Homelessness affects real people — families, veterans, seniors, and young adults — many of whom never imagined they’d be in this situation. With the rising cost of living in the Bay Area, more and more of our neighbors are one crisis away from losing their homes.
